Dear Guest,
My name is András Krizsán, and I am the co-owner and host of Hotel Oswaldo. I invite you to a place with a history dating back to 1984, when my parents founded our business, starting with just four guest rooms. Over the decades, we have grown into a 13-room hotel, but our core mission remains the same: to provide a peaceful sanctuary in a suburban district of Budapest.
At Hotel Oswaldo, hospitality is a personal mission where professional expertise meets a warm welcome. I am a qualified caterer and chef, having learned the craft at the prestigious Károly Gundel School of Hospitality. For me, breakfast is not just a meal; it is the highlight of the day. I have brought together egg specialties from around the world: our menu features classics like Eggs Benedict and Quiche Lorraine, alongside my own creation, 'Lecsós Mámor' (a unique Hungarian pepper stew-based delight), and the traditional, comforting Hungarian-style French toast (bundás kenyér). I personally prepare your breakfast at a pre-arranged time, tailored specifically to your preferences.
I am assisted in our daily tasks by my friend and partner, Zoltán, whom you will meet throughout the day. We manage the reception together: depending on who is closer when the bell rings, either he or I will greet you upon arrival. Zoltán also assists with breakfast, we share the housekeeping duties, and he is the master of our high-quality on-site hair salon. This ensures you are always greeted by familiar faces and a direct, friendly atmosphere.

Convenient Services: We provide free, secure private parking (up to 3.5 tonnes). For the avoidance of any misunderstanding, please note that the hotel cannot accept liability for vehicles or any valuables left inside them. Additionally, guests can enjoy a fresh cut at Zoltán's hair salon located within the hotel.
Our Passions That Make Us a Home:
The soul of our hotel is shaped by our personal stories. If you enjoy classic American cars, I would be delighted to show you my private collection. Furthermore, Pee Wee and Maxi, our two wonderful Papillon (butterfly) dogs, are inseparable members of our lives. They are our true "in-house hosts," and many of our guests arrive with treats in their pockets just for them.
Please note: While we are great dog lovers ourselves, to ensure the peace of our own pets and the tranquility of our hotel, we are unable to host other pets or animals.
